Prince of Verona. Tries to stop feud between the Capulets and the Montagues. He fights for the safety of the citizens that are caught up in this fight between the two families
Lord Capulet
Juliet’s father. Acts very powerful and always wants to be obeyed. He wants what is best for his daughter (Juliet). He is also thoughtful and considerate, for example: when he noticed Romeo at feast but let him stay and enjoy it.
Lady Capulet
Juliet’s mother. Has more of a formal relationship with Juliet. Cares more about looks and appearance. Good hearted but very unreasonable. (NOT MUCH SAID)
Lord Montague
Romeo’s father. Caring and respects people of his family. Close with Benvolio and trusts his family, he loves his son but is also concerned for him. Good and reasonable man and father. (NOT MUCH SAID)
Lady Montague
Romeo’s mother. Scared for Romeo, very concerned at the beginning for him. (NOT MUCH SAID)
Romeo
Romeo is one of the title characters in William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. He serves as the play’s male protagonist. Romeo, the son of Montague and his wife, secretly loves and marries Juliet, a member of the rival House of Capulet.

The Nurse is a major character in William Shakespeare’s classic drama Romeo and Juliet. It is revealed later in the play by Lord Capulet that the Nurse’s real name might be Angelica.
Juliet
Juliet is the female protagonist and one of two title characters in William Shakespeare’s romantic love tragedy Romeo and Juliet, the other being Romeo. Juliet is the only daughter of Capulet, the patriarch of the Capulet family.
Mercutio
Mercutio is a fictional character in William Shakespeare’s 1597 tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. He is a close friend to Romeo and Benvolio and a blood relative to Prince Escalus and Count Paris. Mercutio comes from the word “mercurial” which means sudden or unpredictable changes of mood or mind. By making Mercutio like this, it makes his personality always changing making him funny to listen to.
